2 tsp maple syrup or agave (honey works for a nonvegan option)
1 cup milk, divided (I used So Delicious coconut milk)
6 basil leaves
Instructions
Place the peaches in a food processor. Pulse about 10 times to loosen up and chop the peaches.
Add in the maple syrup and ½ cup of milk. Process until the mixture starts to become smooth. Using a spatula, scrape down the mixture from the sides of the food processor.
Add in the remaining ½ cup of milk and the basil leaves. Process until the milk and basil are incorporated and the mixture is silky smooth.
Serve immediately, or store the mixture in the freezer until ready to serve. If storing for a long period of time, take the sorbet out of the freezer about 30 minutes prior to serving to allow it to soften.
