Quick and Easy Apple Butter

Serves: 9 servings
  • 4 medium apples, peeled, cored, chopped
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan. Stir to combine.
  2. Bring mixture to a boil.
  3. Turn down to low and simmer for 45 minutes.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a food processor, blender, or Nutribullet. Blend until the mixture reaches a smooth consistency.
